Placencia is a part of Belize’s diverse attractions, and so, we have curated adventures to perfectly intertwine with southern Belize natural wonders.

We offer private customized two hour or half day or full day tours for both small and large groups.
Our adventure emcompass sea, lagoon and monkey river tours in and nearby the Placencia Peninsula.
Surrounding islands and turquoise blue water makes this area excellent for

About Sandy Cove BZ Tours

We are a fully Belizean owned small business who customize your adventures in and near Placencia. All our adventures are private. We have begun operation in the year 2019 where we registered with the Companies Registry of Belize. We are also certified by the Belize Tourism Board. We are very sentimental about sustainable fishing adventures. We also collaborate with
different businesses and organizations to keep our environment, which encompass the land, sea and lagoon. Constant clean-up campaigns keep our water cleaner and in turn gives longevity to the marine environment.

We are a licensed and insured business who make every effort to have a lasting Impression on our clients. Both co-managers, Vanessa and Eric, make every effort.

 Verified Book your fishing trip with these guys!
My buddy and I booked a 8 hour trip to do some fishing. We spent the day with Captain Lincoln. Captain Lincoln had us on the fish fast. We fished with live bait and had action from start to finish. Snapper, yellowtail, and Barracuda. We had a fantastic lunch on the boat. If you ever get a chance to spend a day in the boat with him, do it! At the end of the day Captain Lincoln cleaned all the fish for us while we hung out with some of the other guides and owner of the company. Super friendly people. Lots of laughs. Over the years my visits to Placencia have largely been fishing trips, and I have found that Sandy Cove provides great service & results. It is great to work with locals like Eric & Vanessa who have the local knowledge and also a commitment to service. They will go above & beyond to provide a good experience.  Verified Sunset anniversary cruise
Eric was the most wonderful boat captain and tour guide. We had booked a sunset lagoon boat ride on our 20th wedding anniversary. We could not have been happier. Eric drives a gorgeous boat that he built from beautiful Belizean wood. My husband and I shared wine and snacks on our cruise, a delightful touch.  Verified Wonderful Sunset Cruise- Beautiful experience
We took a sunset cruise in Aug during our visit to Placencia with Sandy Cove and it was amazing. Our guide was awesome, very informative & very sweet. He knew all the answers to our questions & this was not our first time to Belize. This is a must do if you haven’t done one if you can spare the time, it’s absolutely stunning.  Verified Wonderful family adventure with excellent people!
We had a wonderful day thanks to Eric and Vanessa! We had a very successful morning of reef fishing followed by a delicious home made lunch. We enjoyed an afternoon snorkeling trip where Eric pointed out and identified every creature we came across. We were sent home with fresh, delicious fish steaks for dinner. Went on the sunset and snorkeling tour with Eric last week and was blown away. The snorkeling was amazing with the most vibrant and robust reef we’ve seen. The trip ended with a relaxing sunset ride back to the marina. Would highly recommend setting up a tour with Vanessa and Eric when you’re in town. We were in Placencia in February, and some friends invited us to join them for a day of snorkeling. What an awesome day!!! We snorkeled in 3 different areas, swam with large tortoises, rays and sharks. Also had a delicious lunch, cooked by Eric's mom!

Their team is professional, timely and so capable and their tours are private and bespoke. We went fishing, caught wonderful fish that our captain graciously cleaned for us and were given opportunities to swim in the gorgeous caye waters when we needed to cool off. Our second trip out with Sandy Cove was even more memorable as weather threatened the whole day but Captain Hank took such gentle and generous care of all of us and waited out the weather patiently until he could take us out on a final Belize adventure not wanting our last day to be ‘lost’.  He made us the most delicious conch ceviche, cut up fresh fruits and coconuts for us on the beach and waited out the weather until we could go out and I know we will never forget our day with him on adventure and on the beach. We were the first boat to arrive to the caye. Giving us time to explore before all the other boat tours arrived.
Our guide, Eric, was fantastic. Very knowledgeable and experienced. He took the time to show us everything. Which was easy because there were only two of us on the private tour.
We did a tour with Capt Jacs a couple days prior with 28 other people on the same boat/tour. That wasn't nearly as enjoyable.

Alan did a great job of shepherding us around the reef, showing us so much marine life, and checking on us. The shore lunch of jerked chicken, rice and beans, fried plantains, and slaw were great.
